Sold mobile phones in childhood, sometimes worked at the airport…now became the hero of Pakistan's victory by defeating England, see the condition of Ind vs NZ series in the video

Cricket News Desk. After the shameful performance in the first Test against England in Multan, there have been major changes in the Pakistan team. The selection committee of Pakistan Cricket Board showed the way out to fast bowlers like Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah in the second test. In their place, two spinners were included in the team, one of which is Sajid Khan. The same Sajid Khan completely destroyed England's batting line-up in the first innings in Multan. He gave Pakistan a lead of 75 runs by taking 7 wickets in the first innings. He also played an important role in the victory by taking 2 wickets in the second innings. For this brilliant performance he was also chosen Player of the Match. But do you know that Sajid, who has become a hero in the whole of Pakistan today, once needed every penny and had to survive by selling mobile phones.

Such was Sajid's struggle
Sajid Khan is a resident of Mardan, Pakistan. His father died when he was 8 years old. After the death of his father, the responsibility of the house fell on him. His elder brother started rickshaw driving. Sajid Khan started selling mobile phones to earn his living. In a video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board, he revealed that apart from mobile phones, he also sold bats. To earn his livelihood he did everything from fitting grips to repairing broken bats. This helped him run his household and also meet his sporting needs.

Left cricket and worked at Dubai airport
Sajid Khan's struggle did not end here. After playing Under-18, he got very few opportunities to play cricket. Due to this he had to face financial problems. After this he left cricket and went to Dubai. There he earned his living by working at the airport. However, he was so fond of cricket that even after moving there, he continued playing cricket. He used to work at the airport for five days and play cricket for two days. But on the insistence of his mother, Sajid had to return to Pakistan before his visa expired in 6 months. After this he continued his efforts in domestic cricket. Finally got a place in the Pakistan team in 2021.

Debuted in 2021
Sajid Khan got a chance to make his Test debut for Pakistan against Zimbabwe in the year 2021 at the age of 28. He did not get many opportunities after his debut. Sajid has been able to play only 9 matches in the last 3 years. He took 34 wickets in his 17 innings. 32-year-old Sajid has not yet made his ODI or T20 debut. His record in domestic matches is very good. He has taken 246 wickets in 68 matches at an average of 28. He has 34 wickets in 38 List A matches. Not only this, he can also bat and has scored 1647 runs at an average of 17 in first class.
