Pakistan won on home ground after 44 months
Pakistan won its last Test match against South Africa in Rawalpindi in February 2021. Then Pakistan had defeated South Africa by 95 runs. After this the team has played 12 tests. Pakistan team has won in one of these. Four Tests were drawn and Pakistan lost the seventh.

'Victory comes after difficult times'
Masood further said- There is no doubt on the efforts of any player. This is special for all people. The team has achieved victory after difficult times. We are just happy that we were successful in implementing the plan. We took 20 wickets. Along with this, some good scores were also made in the first and second innings. We changed the strategy. We missed against Bangladesh.

PCB took important decisions
For this test, Pakistan team took tough decisions and made many major changes. Which includes senior players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah. This benefited the team and new players helped Pakistan make a tremendous comeback. Kamran Ghulam, who came in place of Babar, scored a century in the first innings while spinner Sajid Khan took seven wickets for England in the first innings. In the second innings, Noman Ali's spin ball wreaked havoc and he took eight wickets.

'Debut was not easy for Kamran'
Talking about the changes in the team, the captain said- Sometimes you have to make a strategy because of the opposing team. We have not played much Test cricket in Multan. It was not easy for Nauman Ali and Sajid Khan to come into the team. We did not even need a third bowler in the second innings. All the players of the team performed well. The debut was not easy for Kamran Ghulam. He replaced one of the best batsmen in the world. I can't even imagine how much pressure someone can be under.
