Airlines threatening calls: Diwali festival is approaching, due to which there is a huge crowd of people at the airport. At the same time, during the festive season, threatening calls create fear among people. After all, who are these people who are giving such threats and why are they giving it, it is being investigated.
Threat to bomb Indigo plane
Demands for continuous threats to bomb the airlines are increasing. Today again 5 Indigo planes received a bomb threat call. Due to which emergency landing of all these planes is being done. A total of 3 flights have landed at Delhi airport so far. Till now 7 bomb threat calls have been received. In which 5 Indigo flights have been threatened.
The festive season is currently going on in the country and calls like bomb threats have become common in flights. Such news are coming every day. Since Monday, more than 70 flights have received bomb threats. This morning, Air India Express and Vistara Airlines have also received bomb threats.
Emergency landing of flights was done after threat
DGCA is continuously monitoring every call. Internal communication and sharing of details between ministries and departments. Today a threat was made to bomb an international flight. Air India Express flight IX 196 was en route from Dubai to Jaipur, carrying 189 passengers.
Indigo issued a statement
IndiGo said in a statement, 'We are aware of the situation regarding flight 6E17 from Mumbai to Istanbul. The safety of our passengers and crew is our first priority. We are working closely with the relevant authorities, and all necessary precautions are being taken as per the guidelines.”
