On this occasion, the Uttar Pradesh government is going to give such a gift to the people of the state, which will make the festival of Diwali even more special. On this festival, different types of dishes are prepared in every house, there should be no problem in making them, that is why the state government has started distribution of free LPG cylinders.
Before Diwali, more festivals like Karva Chauth, Ahoi Ashtami are coming, for which the government has made special arrangements for the underprivileged living in the state. This time there will be no problem in cooking on any festival.
This state is getting Diwali gift
The Uttar Pradesh government has fulfilled the promise made to 1.86 crore families of the state on the occasion of Diwali. To fulfill this promise, the government has allocated a fund of Rs 1,890 crore. The Uttar Pradesh government has issued a statement regarding this scheme, saying that the double engine government has fully fulfilled its promise of providing free cylinders.
Let us tell you that under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, free LPG cylinders will be distributed in the state for 2 years on festivals like Holi and Diwali. The state government has issued orders to the Food and Logistics Department for this. Accordingly, it is being said that this process will be completed as soon as possible.

How to avail free cylinder?
The wait of women to get free cylinder is now going to end. Under this scheme, the process of Aadhaar certification is going on.
And the beneficiaries whose Aadhaar verification has been done can get a free cylinder before Diwali. Only those beneficiaries can avail the benefit of this scheme, whose bank account is linked to Aadhaar and is valid.
Free cylinders were given last year also
Last year too, the Uttar Pradesh government had distributed free LPG cylinders to more than 85 lakh women and 1.85 crore families. It is noteworthy that in Uttar Pradesh, a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder is available at a price of Rs 842.42 and this cylinder price is based on the month of September.
