MP: Case registered against 91 Congress leaders including Digvijay Singh

Bhopal: Police have registered a case in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh against 91 Congress leaders including senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh, who is always in the news for his statements. It is being told that Digvijay Singh along with hundreds of Congress leaders was protesting in Rajgarh regarding the withdrawal of Panchayati Raj and the demands of Sarpanch Sangh.

After this, the police have registered a case against all the leaders and Congress workers present at the spot including Digvijay for protesting by blocking the road. It is being told that on Friday, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh had staged a 'Rasta Roko' demonstration on the highway in Tindonia village of Rajgarh district.

Digvijay Singh had reached here on the call of Rashtriya Sarpanch Sangh with the aim of empowering Gram Panchayats. He described this symbolic Rasta Roko demonstration of the Sarpanch Sangh as a completely non-political demonstration. Let us tell you that Congress leaders demonstrated on the streets across the state to strengthen the Panchayati Raj system. During this time, a case has been registered in Rajgarh by detaining more than a dozen leaders including two former MLAs.

Not only this, Digvijay Singh fiercely attacked the government through tweet. Tagging BJP in his tweet, he wrote that the double engine government of MP wants to end Panchayat Raj. Wants to snatch away their rights and confine them to the Bhopal ministry. All construction works are being approved by taking 20-25% commission. Many sarpanches have mortgaged their wives' jewelery to pay commission.
