Chocolate Laddus

Laddus are the life of every festival. Some like boondi and some like gram flour laddus. But the laddus available in the market are prepared from dalda and refined. This time, to double the fun of the festival, you can make everyone's favorite laddus at home but not with traditional boondi and gram flour but with chocolate.

– Chocolate laddus are prepared from biscuits.

– For this, chocolate, biscuits, butter, chocolate sauce, sugar or condensed milk and cocoa powder will be required.

– Add butter, chocolate sauce, sugar or condensed milk and cocoa powder in a ball and mix.

Then put the biscuits in a blender and make a fine powder.

– Mix all these things together and knead it like dough.

– Make small laddus of this flour.

Then melt the chocolate in a ball and dip all these laddus one by one in the melted chocolate and keep them in the fridge to set.

– Take out the laddus from the fridge in 30 minutes.

– To make fig barfi, you need a bowl of figs, dates, raisins, cashews, almonds, pistachios and desi ghee.

– First of all, chop all the dry fruits and add some ghee and fry them.

– Now prepare a paste by adding raisins, figs and dates in a blender.

– Now add melted jaggery as per requirement.

– Put all the ingredients in a pan and let it cook on low flame for 5 minutes.

– Apply ghee on a plate and spread this batter like roti.

– Cut it in the shape of barfi and keep it to set.

Once the barfi cools down, demould it.

– Your delicious fig barfi is ready to serve.
