Bollywood couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are one of the few couples from the film fraternity who constantly make headlines on social media. Ever since Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan’s divorce rumours were highlighted on the internet since then the couple’s relationship status has turned around on social media. Back in 2007, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were promoting the film Guru while they were doing an international tour, The Unforgettables. There a journalist asked Aishwarya about losing herself to Abhishek after their wedding. To this Rai responded swiftly, “I am looking forward to babies. I am enjoying marriage. There’s no question of losing oneself to it.”

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan first appeared in legendary Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar film released in 1997. Since then the collaboration between Aishwarya Rai and Mani Ratnam, he featured her in films like Guru, Raavan, Raavan, and she was last seen in the Ponniyin Selvan series which won multiple awards in IIFA 2024 Utsavan.

Recently, Aishwarya Rai talking to First Post, revealed her unique relationship with Mani Ratnam, Rai said, “I can’t even speak about his evolution as a maker because I have respected him. He’s my guru. So from the beginning, I just say I’m very grateful that I got to work with Mani Ratnam for my first film. Today we as a team get to enjoy the audience celebrating our film and how. I mean, 13 nominations. But having said that, I think it shouldn’t stop at 13.”

She further added, “I’d cover everybody, every talent who has worked towards making for the installment. So that would go into 100. And each of them in my heart is nominated, and each of them is a winner because the audience has loved that piece of cinema. So thank you for your love. Thank you for your patience.”
