Latest News :- The Election Commission of India has announced that Maharashtra Assembly elections will be held in one phase on November 20, while Jharkhand elections will be held in two phases on November 13 and 20. In this regard, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar spoke to the media in Delhi. Then he said: In the recently concluded Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana assembly elections, voters came in large numbers and exercised their franchise. On behalf of the Election Commission, I wish him all the best. There were no re-elections in these two states. There were no incidents of violence in any state. The increase in voting percentage shows that people have faith in the Election Commission.

Maharashtra Assembly Elections: Voting will be held in Maharashtra in a single phase on November 20. There are a total of 288 assembly constituencies in this state. Filing of nominations for these constituencies will start from 22nd. The last date for filing nomination is 29 October. Nominations will be considered on October 30. November 4 is the last date for withdrawal of nominations. Voting will take place on 20th November. The number of voters in Maharashtra is 9.63 crore. More than one lakh polling stations will be set up at 52,000 places in the state. The counting of votes cast in the elections will be done on November 23 and the results will also be declared on the same day.

Jharkhand Assembly Elections: Elections for Jharkhand Assembly will be held in two phases on November 13 and November 20. There are 81 assembly constituencies in the state. More than 2.6 crore voters are eligible to vote. These also include 11.84 lakh first-time voters. The first phase of elections in Jharkhand will start on October 18. Filing of nominations for the constituencies to be held in the second phase will begin from October 22. The last date for filing nominations in constituencies for the first phase of elections is October 25 and for the second phase, October 29.

Scrutiny of nominations filed for the first phase of elections will be held on October 28 and scrutiny of nominations filed for the second phase of elections will be held on October 30. The last date for withdrawal of nominations filed for the first phase of elections is October 30. The last date for withdrawal of nominations filed for the second phase of elections is November 1. Counting of votes cast in both the phases will be done on November 23 and the results will be declared on the same day.

Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency: Elections for the Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency will be held on November 13. Nomination filing for this constituency will begin on the 18th. 25th is the last day for filing nominations. The nominations submitted will be considered on 28th. The last date for withdrawal of nomination is 30th. The votes cast in the elections held on November 13 will be counted on November 23 and the results will be declared on the same day. Apart from these, the first phase of elections will also be held in Jharkhand for 47 vacant assembly constituencies in different states of the country. That means elections are going to be held on these 47 seats on 13th November.
