Pakistan: Two terrorists were killed and five others arrested in two separate operations in Pakistan's restive Balochistan province. According to reports, the army's media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that security forces launched an operation on Saturday in Pishin district of the province based on intelligence inputs on the alleged presence of terrorists.

During the operation, five terrorists were arrested and a large quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives were seized. The arrested terrorists were involved in several terrorist attacks and were planning to target security forces as well as civilians. A large quantity of arms and ammunition were also recovered during the search of the area.
