Ekta Kapoor and her mother got into trouble due to 'dirty talk', case registered under POCSO Act

Mumbai Police has registered a case against both of them under the POCSO Act. This matter is related to the web series Gandi Baat.

Actually, the bold web series of Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor's OTT platform Alt Balaji is much talked about. One of which has been the Gandi Baat web series. Now there is an uproar regarding its 6th season. It is alleged that in an episode of 'Gandii Baat' season 6 produced by Ekta and Shobha, obscene scenes of minor girls have been shown. At present, this controversial episode is not streaming on the OTT platform. A case has been registered against Ekta and her mother.

According to Mumbai Police, a case has been registered against Balaji Telefilms Limited owner Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor under Section 295-A, IT Act and Sections 13 and 15 of the POCSO Act at Mumbai's MHB police station. Case has been registered. This complaint has been made for some objectionable scenes of Gandii Baat season released in the year 2021. However, no official statement has come from Ekta Kapoor or her mother yet.
