Stray Kids surpasses BTS and leading HYBE groups at the Billboard World Albums Chart

Stray Kids “ATE” and left no crumbs on Billboard’s World Albums list this past week, according to internet-approved standards. For the week ending on October 19, the JYP Entertainment boy group’s most recent mini-album topped a music chart that was dominated by HYBE, defeating stalwarts including Jimin of BTS, LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, and SEVENTEEN.

Stray Kids’ “ATE” extended its sixth non-consecutive week at the top of the World Albums chart, marking an incredible triumphant return. The title tune “Chk Chk Boom,” which features cameos from Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in its music video, is the lead single from the K-pop octet’s ninth Korean EP. It also extended its 12-week run on the Billboard 200 at #102.
