Mobile News Desk – United Kingdom (UK) smartphone company Nothing is going to launch its first Community Edition smartphone on October 30. The Nothing Phone 2A Community Edition is the result of a six-month collaboration with the company's fan community, who have participated in the device's hardware, wallpapers, packaging design and marketing campaigns. The final design of the phone features a unique “phosphorescence” concept, with an attractive green color. The advantage of this color is that it glows even in the dark.

Nothing 2A was prepared in 4 stages
The first phase of manufacturing the phone started in March. In this the hardware design was finalized. In this, a shining radium pattern is visible on the back side. The launch teaser of the new device also shows a glowing firefly design on the back of the phone. Stage 2, which began in May, was based on wallpaper design. The theme of this phone is “Connected Collection”. This phone will come pre-installed in (2A) Community Edition. Additionally, Stage 3 in June focused on packaging design, combining hardware and wallpaper designs from Stages 1 and 2. Out of all the entries, “Less Is More” with a green theme was selected as the winner.

The base model features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display
The new Phone 2a version may look different on the outside, but it is expected to be similar to the standard Nothing phone (2a), which was introduced in March this year. The base model featured a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC.

Receives IP54 dust and water-resistant rating
Talking about optics, the device sports a 50MP dual camera at the rear and a 32MP front camera for clear photos and video calls. Talking about the battery, the device has a 5,000 mAh battery and it supports 45W fast charging. Connectivity features include dual 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. Apart from this it is IP54 dust and water-resistant. The Nothing Phone (2a) is currently priced at Rs 27,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. However, the price of Community Edition has not been revealed yet.
