Raveena Tandon wishes Karva Chauth to fans in Sanskrit

Mumbai, October 20 (IANS). Actress Raveena Tandon is celebrating Karva Chauth in a special style. The actress wished her fans and her husband in a special way by sharing beautiful pictures on the social media platform Instagram account.

On Sunday, the actress shared several pictures on her Instagram in Indian attire. In the pictures, the actress is seen in a beige Anarkali suit, which she has paired with a red dupatta. She tied her hair neatly in a bun and completed her look with statement jewellery.

The actress wrote in the caption, “My husband, I wish you a very happy Karva Chauth!” May you live long and be lucky always. A lovely day to celebrate love and our families with our friends. Along with this, he wrote Karva Chauth in the caption with the hashtag.

Raveena married film producer Anil Thadani on February 22, 2004, as per Punjabi Khatri and Sindhi traditions at the Jag Mandir Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The actress gave birth to their daughter Rasha in March 2005. Gave birth to son Ranbir Vardhan in July 2008.

Raveena started her film career with 'Patthar Ke Phool' (1991), which was a hit. The actress starred in ten films in 1994, most of which were box-office successes. Four of these films were among the highest grossing films of the year, including 'Mohra', 'Dilwale', 'Aatish' and 'Laadla'.

The actress was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, by the Government of India in 2023 for her contribution to Indian cinema.
