Japan Miyazaki Airport : Miyazaki Airport in southwestern Japan resumed operations on Sunday. According to the media, it was found that the magnetic reaction indicating the possible presence of a World War II bomb around the taxiway was caused by a large amount of iron sand.

Japan Airlines canceled some of its flights on Saturday night ahead of taxiway excavation work on Sunday.

The local office of the transport ministry said on Saturday that it had found another World War II bomb after conducting a magnetic survey around the airport's taxiway, where a wartime bomb exploded earlier this month.
