Union Minister and patron of Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM) Jitan Ram Manjhi has given the party symbol to his daughter-in-law Deepa Manjhi for the by-election on Imamganj seat of Gaya. She is the NDA candidate for the by-election to be held on November 13 next month. Although three members of her family wanted to contest on this seat, but Deepa Manjhi’s name was finalized. RJD has taken a dig at Manjhi by posting a post on giving ticket to his own family member on Imamganj seat. RJD spokesperson said that the name of the party is ‘Hum’, hence only our people will get tickets.

RJD spokesperson Shakti Singh has described Jitan Ram Manjhi as Jitan Ram Sharma, who while talking to the Dalit community is saying that we mean “Should I tell you about my family and who are the people in our family”?
