Dirty politics of BJP is the real reason for increase in pollution in Delhi's air and water: CM Atishi
New Delhi. Chief Minister Atishi and AAP leader Satyendar Jain held a press conference on the issue of increasing pollution in Delhi. During this, Chief Minister Atishi said, pollution is increasing in Delhi. Along with this, the level of pollution in Yamuna is also increasing. Today I would like to tell the people of Delhi that the real reason for increasing pollution in Delhi's air and water is the dirty politics of BJP. On one hand, due to the efforts of the AAP government in Punjab, incidents of stubble burning have reduced significantly. The BJP government at the Center itself accepts this. After the formation of our government in Punjab, incidents of stubble burning have reduced to half, whereas in BJP ruled Haryana and UP, incidents of stubble burning have increased.

He further said, all the buses of Delhi at Anand Vihar bus stand are being operated by CNG and Electric. A fleet of more than 2000 electric buses is running on the roads in Delhi. At the same time, all the buses coming from Haryana and UP are diesel. Kaushambi bus station is just across the road. Here also all the buses operate on diesel. This is also the biggest reason for increasing pollution in Delhi. Along with this, there is not a single brick kiln in Delhi, whereas there are 3800 brick kilns in NCR of Haryana-UP. The BJP government did not take any steps to stop the pollution caused by these kilns.
Also said, 165 mgd of polluted water from industry is released into Yamuna river from Haryana side. At the same time, UP government also releases 55 mgd of polluted water into Yamuna. Our government is continuously working to end this foam. From today itself, Silicon Based Food Grade Defoamer will be sprayed, which will eliminate this foam.
Meanwhile, AAP leader Satyendar Jain said, we started work on war footing to clean Yamuna. When BJP started feeling that the AAP government would clean Yamuna, they first arrested me and later Arvind Kejriwal. The biggest reason for polluting the water of Yamuna is industrial waste, which comes from Haryana and UP. UP government runs 12 gates at Kalindi Kunj and at this time only 2-3 gates are opened, due to which this foam is generated. BJP people are only doing drama.
Questions raised on law and order
During this, Chief Minister Atishi raised questions on the law and order situation of Delhi. He said, the law and order situation of Delhi is in the hands of the BJP government at the Center but it is proving to be unsuccessful. Crime is increasing in Delhi. People are being murdered openly. The incidents of robbery and extortion are increasing. Today a bomb exploded. BJP is using all its strength to stop the work of the elected government of Delhi. She is not doing her work.
