Mohammed Shami bowls with brand new look at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium

Just hours after the first Test between India and New Zealand concluded, pacer Mohammed Shami was seen bowling on the pitch at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. India convincingly lost the Test match against New Zealand by 8 wickets after which, Shami was seen bowling to the Men in Blue’s assistant coach Abhishek Nayar.

There have been speculations that Shami has recovered from the ankle injury that he sustained last year and that he has been trying his level-best to feature for India in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar series.

Going by the visuals on social media, Shami was seen wearing a black sleeveless t-shirt and shorts. The pacer had his left knee strapped up. India’s bowling coach Morne Morkel was also seen observing Shami.

Shami was seen operating from round the wicket to the left-handed Abhishek Nayar. The pacer managed to hit the good length on quite a few occasions.
