6 migrant laborers including doctor killed, 5 injured in Ganderbal terrorist attack

J&K Terrorist Attack: The death toll in a terrorist attack on Sunday near an under-construction tunnel in Gund area of ​​central Kashmir's Ganderbal district has increased to six. Workers' housing camp targeted

According to media reports, the attackers opened fire on a housing camp for workers engaged in the construction of a tunnel, injuring about a dozen people. Two of these people died on the spot. Four others died on the way to the hospital. A doctor is also included among the dead.

The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir has expressed grief over this terrorist attack. CM Omar Abdullah condemned the attack in a post on Twitter, saying, “The number of casualties in the Gagangir attack is not final as many injured laborers, both local and non-local, are still being treated. I pray I ensure that the injured recover completely, the seriously injured are being referred to SKIMS, Srinagar.

Gadkari said, “I strongly condemn the horrific terrorist attack on innocent laborers in Gangangir, Sonamarg, Jammu and Kashmir, who were engaged in a vital infrastructure project.”
