While talking to YouTube channel 'Friday Talkies', Sunil told that this incident happened when Akshay was shooting for the film 'Barsaat'. He said, 'The shooting of the film had started and some pictures of Akshay with Priyanka had also gone viral. Suddenly one day Akshay called me and asked me to meet.
Akshay left the film midway
When the two met, Akshay told Sunil that he had decided to leave the film. The reason behind this decision were the rumors of an ongoing affair between Priyanka and him, which had become unbearable for his wife. Sunil also said that Twinkle, being an actress, was well aware of the conditions of this industry and she took these conditions very seriously. The situation became worse when Twinkle even left the house, after which Khiladi Kumar had no other option but to back out of the film.
The director made it clear that he does not blame Priyanka for this matter. He said, 'Priyanka was working for her own benefit.' After Akshay declined the film, Bobby Deol showed interest in the project and Sunil decided to include him.
Akshay is busy shooting for 'Housefull 5'
Akshay Kumar is recently shooting on a cruise for 'Housefull 5'. Many big stars like Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez are included with her in this film. This film is going to be released in theaters on 6 June 2025.
