Heartbreaking incident in Madhya Pradesh, newborn girl wrapped in polythene and thrown in the bushes

A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Bapcha Barmad village of Ashta district in Madhya Pradesh. Here a cruel mother wrapped her newborn daughter in polythene and threw it in the bushes. This newborn girl was found lying in the bushes behind a school. Hearing the girl’s crying, the school staff informed the police and 108 ambulance. After this the newborn was admitted to Ashta Hospital, where he was kept in the ICU. When his condition did not improve, he was sent to Sehore District Hospital. As soon as the girl becomes healthy, she will be handed over to the Child Welfare Department.

School children gave information, police and ambulance reached the spot

This matter came to light around 2 pm on Saturday afternoon. Someone had wrapped the newborn in polythene and thrown it behind a private school located in Tandupura Colony of the village. When the school children heard the crying of the newborn, they informed the school management about it. After this, people reached behind the school and found a newborn girl wrapped in polythene in the bushes. Seeing this scene, nearby people also gathered and informed dial 100 and 108 ambulances.

The newborn was referred to Sehore in critical condition.

Police and health department teams reached the spot with an ambulance. The girl was immediately sent to Ashta Hospital, but as her condition deteriorated, she was referred to Sehore District Hospital. SSI Made Singh of Siddhiganj police station said that looking at the condition of the girl, it seems that some cruel mother had thrown the girl in the bushes in the morning. At present the girl has been admitted to the ICU and as soon as her condition becomes stable, she will be handed over to the Child Welfare Department.
