What do we do in Shadows OTT Release: The American Horror Comedy Series will be available to watch on Disney+Hotstar on 22nd October 2024. The seris is based on the 2014 New Zealand film written by Clement and Taika Waititi.
Plot
The story of the series follows the lives of vampires who live like normal human beings in a house and do all the usual things like cooking, eating, cleaning etc. All the vampires stay as roommates
All of them try to deal with the complexities of modern life. The film is based on a 2005 film what do we do in the shadows: Interview with some vampires. The documentary follows the life of 4 vampires.
These vampires are Viago, Vladislav, Deacon, and Petyr, they all share a flat in the Wellington suburb. However, all these vampires possess supernatural powers like transforming into an animal
And the ability to do whatever they want. Each night the roommates board a bus to take a walk in the town and look for something to feed themselves. However, these vampires also lure people into their house to eat them.
However surprisingly the vampires becomes friend with a human who is a computer analyst and take him to their group.The series moves around the overall lives of the vampires.
The horror American series is also nominated for the Emmy awards including outstanding comedy series in the year 2020 and 2022 for its 3rd and 5th season. Meanwhile, after the success of the previous series..
The makers decided to come up with a fresh sequel and brough the 6th season of the show. Meanwhile, the series is written and directed by Waititi and Clement, and features Jonny Brugh, Cori Gonzalez-Macuer and Stu Rutherford in pivotal roles.
The sixth and final season of WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS premieres on FX October 21, 2024.
