This is the first time in the history of the Women's T20 World Cup that no team will walk away empty-handed, as the ICC has set a base prize of US$112,500 for all 10 participating teams. Teams will also be awarded US$31,154 for each win during the group stage matches.

On the other hand, teams that failed to qualify for the semi-finals will receive additional prize money based on where they finished in their group. The teams finishing third and fourth in their groups will each receive US$270,000, while the teams finishing fifth will each receive US$135,000. The two losing semi-final teams will each receive US$675,000, while the runners-up will receive US$1.17 million. The champion team will take home US$2.34 million along with the trophy.
