According to Korea JoongAng Dailythe 12-year-old Cambodian royal was reported to become a trainee in a South Korean agency and is expected to debut as a K-pop idol.

Her talents in singing, dancing, and acting have drawn comparisons to Southeast Asian K-pop stars like Blackpink’s Lisa and (G)I-DLE’s Minnie, who have achieved global fame. Despite her young age, Jenna is already a star in Cambodia, boasting millions of followers across various social media platforms, including over 910,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

Born in 2012 to Princess Bophary Norodom and a French businessman, Jenna, the great-granddaughter of Cambodia’s former King Norodom Sihanouk, frequently shares song covers in the five languages she speaks fluently: Khmer, Thai, Chinese, English, and French.

In 2022, she signed with K’ve Entertainment, a Cambodian K-pop agency, and her dance covers of Aespa’s “Next Level” and Blackpink’s “Pretty Savage” went viral, as reported by the South China Morning Post. She also released a song titled “You Da One” with singer Boho and performed at the 2022 K-WAVE Year-End Concert in Cambodia.

However, on Oct. 15, Jenna clarified on her official Weibo account that she had declined the offer to train as a K-pop idol in South Korea, emphasizing her focus on her career and studies to benefit the Cambodian people. She stated, “Jenna has not, does not, and will not work as a K-pop trainee in South Korea.”
