Shivraj Singh Chauhan stature increased: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has constituted a monitoring group under the chairmanship of Union Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. This group will review the implementation of the Union Budget and projects along with the schemes announced by the Prime Minister.

The first meeting of this monitoring group was held on October 18 at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). The meeting was attended by all Secretaries to the Government of India along with the Chairman, Railway Board in hybrid mode. The monitoring group will meet every month under the chairmanship of Shivraj Singh Chauhan in the PMO located in South Block. All government schemes will be reviewed and implemented in this meeting.

According to the officials present in the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Shivraj Singh Chauhan stature increased) has entrusted Shivraj Singh Chauhan with the responsibility of monitoring the schemes announced by the NDA government formed under his leadership in 2014. According to a report, those working as nodal officers for various schemes announced by the Prime Minister have also been asked to attend the meeting.
