Salman Khan has been given additional security after the murder of Baba Siddiqui.

Latest News :- Senior Nationalist Congress leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Andheri, Mumbai on Saturday. Jailed international criminal Lawrence Bishnoi was held responsible for the murder. In 2018, Lawrence Bishnoi announced that he was going to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Lawrence gang's attempt to kill Salman has failed twice. Security has been increased at actor Salman Khan's apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. Actor Salman already has Y Plus security from the Central Government.

Baba Siddiqui who was killed was a very close friend of Salman Khan. It is said that Baba Siddiqui had intervened and resolved the differences between Salman and Shahrukh Khan. After the murder of Baba Siddiqui, Shubu Longar had warned on his Facebook page that 'D Company will not spare those who helped Dawood and actor Salman.' Police are searching for the person who has identified himself as Lawrence Kumble. Earlier, Goldie Brar, who was involved in crimes in Canada, had also warned Salman thrice. He was a close associate of Lawrence.

Lawrence belonged to the Bishnoi community. They are worshipers of animals and trees. Bishnois especially give great importance to Singara deer in their community. In this case, Lawrence has tagged Salman Khan because he was involved in the Singara deer hunting case. In 1998, Salman Khan was accused of hunting Singara deer in the forests of Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

In one of these cases, he was sentenced to 5 years and imprisoned in Jodhpur jail. He was later acquitted in two cases citing lack of evidence. After this, as per the order of the Supreme Court, the Rajasthan Court is again investigating these cases. Lawrence was five years old when Salman was accused of deer hunting.
