Ingredients for making Paneer

  • Paneer- 100
  • Semolina- 1 cup
  • Chili Flakes – ½ tsp
  • Oregano – ½ tsp
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Curd – ½ cup
  • Grated carrot – 1 small
  • Finely chopped capsicum – ½ tsp

How to make Paneer Appe

  • First of all, take semolina in a bowl and mix curd in it. Leave it to rest for a while.
  • Add grated carrots, finely chopped capsicum and cheese to it. If you want, you can also fry the paneer pieces a little first.
  • Mix a little salt, oregano and chili flakes, add little water to it and mix everything well.
  • Apply some ghee in the appe maker and fill it well with the prepared mixture.
  • After five minutes, turn these appas and let them cook properly from the other side also for five minutes.
  • Take them out in a plate. Top it with grated cheese and pulses. You can add oregano, chili flakes on top as per your choice.
