Ingredients to make Palak Paneer Curry
Spinach – 1/2 kg
Paneer cubes – 1 cup
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Onion finely chopped – 1/2
Tomato chopped – 1
Garlic cloves- 1
Green chillies – 3-4
Cumin – 1 tsp
Cloves – 3-4
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Bay leaf – 1
Kasoori Methi – 2 teaspoons
Butter – 1 tsp
Cardamom – 2
Cream – 2 tbsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Oil – 3-4 tsp
Salt – as per taste

How to make Palak Paneer Curry
To make Palak Paneer Curry, first break the spinach leaves and separate the thick stalks. After this, pour 6-7 cups of water in a vessel and heat it. Once the water becomes hot, add spinach leaves to it and boil for some time on medium flame. – When the color of spinach starts changing and the leaves become very soft, turn off the gas. After this, take out the spinach leaves from hot water and wash them with cold water.
When the spinach cools completely, put it in a mixer jar and add garlic, ginger and green chillies and grind it. Once the smooth spinach paste is ready, take it out from the mixer jar and take it out in a big bowl. Now add butter and oil in a pan and heat it. – After the butter melts, add cheese pieces to it and fry until it turns golden brown. After this, take out the cheese pieces in a bowl.

Now add some more oil in the pan and heat it. When the oil is hot, add cumin, cinnamon, bay leaves and other spices and fry. When the spices start smelling, add finely chopped onion and fry. After the onion turns light pink, add chopped tomatoes to it and cook until it becomes soft. Now cook the prepared spinach paste in a pan and add some water to it.

– After some time, when the gravy starts boiling, add salt as per taste and stir with a spoon to mix. After this, add the fried paneer pieces in the gravy and mix it well. Cook the vegetable for 5 more minutes, then turn off the gas. Flavorful Palak Paneer Curry is ready. Add fresh cream, kasoori methi and garam masala in it. Palak Paneer can be served with roti, paratha, naan or rice.
