On Monday, an agreement regarding this was reached between former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residence on Kanke Road. Tejashwi Yadav was staying in Ranchi for the last three days, RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha had said in a press conference on Monday that he is being given 3-4 seats and that too by a unilateral decision taken by JMM and Congress which is not acceptable to him. . RJD is strong on about 18 seats, they will help the alliance on 60 to 62 seats. If respectable seats are not found then the party is free to decide on other seats. For this, RJD had given time to JMM and Congress till 11 o'clock on Monday. But before the press conference at 10 am, it was postponed till 1:30 pm. Then at 12 noon it was announced that the press conference has been postponed. After this, Tejashwi Yadav and RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha reached the Chief Minister's residence where there was a discussion with Hemant Soren about their alliance. In the talks between the two leaders, it was decided that RJD will contest the elections this time on the same number of seats it had contested in 2019.
