RJD is strong on about 18 seats, they will help the alliance on 60 to 62 seats. If respectable seats are not found then the party is free to decide on other seats. After this, Tejashwi Yadav and RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha reached the Chief Minister's residence where there was a discussion with Hemant Soren about their alliance. In the talks between the two leaders, it was decided that RJD will contest the elections this time on the same number of seats it had contested in 2019.
