He said that e-Shram – One Stop Solution will provide seamless access to various social security schemes to the unorganized workers registered on Ashram. Mandaviya also informed that the primary objective of 'e-Shram One Stop Solution' is to simplify the registration process for unorganized workers and facilitate their access to government welfare schemes.

“This platform will act as a bridge that will connect workers to the many benefits offered by the government and make the registration process easier and more transparent,” he said. The Union Minister urged all unorganized workers to register on the e-Shram portal and avail the benefits of various welfare schemes created for their benefit. He emphasized that coming on this platform will help workers get access to a wide range of social security and welfare initiatives launched by the government aimed at improving their livelihoods and ensuring their well-being.

Ms. Shobha Karandlaje, Minister of State, Ministry of Labor and Employment stressed on integrating state government portals with e-Shram to ensure last mile connectivity. “This initiative will also help in ensuring saturation of the schemes by identifying the left out potential beneficiaries state/district wise,” he said. During the first 100 days of the new government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several meetings were held with the concerned ministries/departments to integrate their social security/welfare schemes with e-Shram, which is a holistic approach for the welfare of unorganized workers. A good example of the government approach. The e-Shram portal was launched by the Ministry of Labor and Employment on August 26, 2021 and over a period of 3 years, more than 30 crore workers have already registered themselves on e-Shram.
