New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi left for Kazan, Russia on Tuesday to attend the summit of BRICS countries. Here he is to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and heads of government of many other countries. PM Modi had earlier visited Russia in July this year. Then he had a conversation with Putin. At the same time, there are speculations that after the important agreement between India and China to start patrolling on LAC, PM Modi may also talk to Chinese President Xi Jinping. However, India and China have not yet said anything clearly on the issue of talks between Modi and Jinping.

When India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri informed the media about the agreement with China on Monday, he was asked whether there would be bilateral talks between Xi Jinping and PM Modi in Russia? On this, Vikram Misri had said that many countries have requested for a bilateral meeting and nothing has been decided in this regard yet. At the same time, when asked the same question, China's Foreign Ministry said that if it is decided to have bilateral talks between Jinping and Modi, then it will tell the media. In such a situation, both the countries have still maintained silence on the issue of talks between Modi and Xi Jinping.

India-China Clash.

Under the agreement reached with China on the issue of patrolling, the situation before 2020 is to be restored. Under this, soldiers of India and China will also patrol in Doklam and Depsang. At both the places, China and India had stopped each other's patrolling. At the same time, India and China have created a buffer zone in Pangong Tso, PP-14, Gogra Hot Spring area. That means soldiers of both the countries cannot go here. It is believed that this buffer zone will also end and Indian soldiers will be able to go on patrolling here again. There is a lot of tension between India and China since 2020 and the armies of both are deployed face to face on the LAC in Eastern Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh.
