2 November: Diwali (Bali Pratipada)/Balipadmi/Lakshmi Puja (Deepawali)/Goverdhan Puja/Vikram Samvat New Year Day- Bank closed in Gujarat, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra.

7 November: Chhath (Evening Arghya) – Bank closed in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand

8 November: Chhath (Morning Arghya)/Vangala Utsav- Bank closed in Bihar, Jharkhand, Meghalaya
