The actor, who made his debut alongside Shraddha Kapoor, once pleaded Sanjay Leela Bhansali to work with him. He left his studies to enrol into acting school.

The actor we’re talking about today dominated the headlines during his stint in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama, ‘The Constitution.’ He portrayed ‘Tajdar’ in the series, and he was praised for his portrayal of the character. For those who don’t know, Shah Sikkander Badusha, his father, is an F.R.C.S.-certified orthopaedic physician from Glasgow and Edinburgh. With an M.Sc. and MBA from Washington, D.C., the actor’s mother, Mahnaz Sikkander Badusha, was a scientist before becoming an entrepreneur. He also has an older brother named Abid, who attended the University of Toronto and works as a lead civil engineer.

Taha Shah Badussha revealed that he was first offered the part of ‘Bajraj,’ Tajdar’s companion, in Heeramandi during a conversation with The Indian Express. Speaking about his look test, Taha Shah said that he was devastated to hear from SLB after the process that he had been chosen for the main protagonist, ‘Tajdar,’ rather than this role. He revealed that he was in total disbelief when the SLB informed him that he had been chosen for the lead role in the Netflix series.

Taha Shah Badussha, also called Taaha Shah, was born in Abu Dhabi on November 19, 1987. For his undergraduate education, Taha also enrolled in the American University of Sharjah, where he studied business administration. He left the program just after a semester, though, after realizing it wasn’t for him. Taha tried his hand at modelling and took on projects for the next three years while running enterprises. He soon relocated to Mumbai and enrolled in an acting school, where he met Naresh Panchal, an acting instructor. He landed his first movie role opposite Shraddha Kapoor in Luv Ka The Endnine months after relocating to the city of dreams.

The 2011 movie failed even though YRF supported it. He starred in many movies, including Ranchi Diaries, Barkhaand gippydirected by Karan Johar, after Luv Ka The End. Taha rose to fame in 2016 after starring in the supporting role of Look again and againstarring Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra. Draupadi Unleashed (2020) marked Taha Shah’s Hollywood debut as well.

Recently, Tara Sutaria posted a heartfelt post with Taha Shah Badussha on her Instagram handle. Before they went on stage at a fashion event, the ‘Heeramadi‘ star was seen holding her dress trail to make sure she could walk easily. The audience was enthralled with their chemistry and royal looks on the ramp. The caption on the post read, “A Walk To Remember!!” along with a red heart emoji.
