Search operation started in Ganga

A search operation was carried out in the Ganga for the third day to search for the dead body of Brahmalin Mahant Ram Gobind Das, but he was disappointed. For this, Masterman Ashok Kumar, after the murder of Mahant, installed a fake monk, Kanpur resident Yogi Ram Gopal Nath alias Gopal Singh, son of late, at the ashram. In the name of Manphool Singh, resident of village Kohra police station, Sajeti tehsil, Ghatampur district, Kanpur city, Uttar Pradesh, he prepared a fake will of the ashram through property dealer Sanjeev Tyagi with the help of a renowned advocate.

Police is searching for a lawyer

The police is now looking for this advocate. Because he had complete information about the incident while making the fake will, yet he did not inform the police about it. On the contrary, huge amount of money was extorted from the accused in return. The advocate has been identified, he is fully interested in the matters of Ashram-Akharas and is also close to many saints and Mahants.

Police is investigating bank and phone details

Now the police is checking the phone and bank details of the advocate. The police have issued notices to all the banks whose names have emerged during the investigation of the CCTV footage and sought information. Not only this, the deals made by the advocate during and after the incident are also being investigated. It is alleged that the accused advocate had also helped in withdrawing an amount of ten lakhs from the bank by forging the signature of Brahmalin Mahant.

Kankhal police station chief Manoj Nautiyal said that out of the six accused identified earlier in this case, the police has already caught four, while the absconding Pradeep and Saurabh, residents of Baghpat and Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, have been caught by activating the informer system and intensifying the operation.
