Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday inaugurated the Travel and Tourism Fair-2024 organized by the Tourism Department by cutting the ribbon at Gyan Bhawan located at Samrat Ashoka Convention Centre. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected various exhibitions organized in the Travel and Tourism Fair. Took detailed information regarding related products/services. Tourism Minister Nitish Mishra welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him an insignia and a robe.

In this two-day Travel and Tourism Fair, Patna 2024, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India along with Bihar, State Tourism of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Telangana, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Kerala Department representatives are also participating. Apart from this, tour operators from neighboring countries Nepal and Bhutan are also participating in this event.

What events will take place?

All the delegates participating in this event will come to Patna to get information about the tourist places of Bihar and then publicize it in their country and state. During TTF, Patna, tours to tourism centres, cultural programs, investor summits, workshops etc. will also be organized for businessmen and institutions associated with the tourism industry. During this time, the representatives from India and abroad will be given detailed information about the traditional-religious as well as new eco-tourism centers of Bihar.

On this occasion, Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Uttarakhand Tourism, Culture and Irrigation Minister Satpal Maharaj, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Tourism Minister Nitish Mishra, Tourism Department Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh, Chief Minister’s Secretary Kumar Ravi, Chief Minister’s Officer on Special Duty Gopal Singh, Patna District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Rajeev Mishra and other senior officials and representatives of organizations and companies related to tourism were present.
