RBI’s ‘Alert List’ of unauthorised forex trading platform: Full list

Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday released an updated ‘Alert List’ of unauthorised forex trading platforms. In the new list, the central bank has added 13 more entities, including TDFX and Inefex, taking the total to 88.

For the convenience of the common man, the RBI Alert List mentions names of entities which don;t have the official permission to deal in forex under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (FEMA) and operate electronic trading platform (ETP) for forex transactions under the Electronic Trading Platforms (Reserve Bank) Directions, 2018.

The RBI list includes the names of, FundedNext, DBG Markets, Plusonetrade, Weltrade, Inefex, YorkerFX, Growline, Ranger Capital, TDFX, Think Markets, Smart Prop Trader, FreshForex, and FX Road.

The Reserve Bank further said that the updated Alert List also mentions the names of websites/platforms/entities which appear to be advocating or promoting unauthorised entities/ETPs. The central bank categorically stated that if an entity is not in the list, it should not be assumed to be authorised by the RBI.
