Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's gift of Rs 100 crore to Uttarakhand Police, also announced recruitment for SI posts

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has made many welfare announcements for Uttarakhand Police. Said that policemen work in very difficult conditions. A provision of Rs 100 crore has been made so that their living space is well arranged.

Said that houses will be built for policemen with this amount. Speaking as the chief guest at the Police Memorial Day program in Dehradun, CM Dhami said that new employment opportunities will also be created for the youth of Uttarakhand.

In this direction, the government has also started the recruitment process for 222 posts of Sub Inspector. Uttarakhand DGP Abhinav Kumar said that during the program we also paid tribute to four comrades who were martyred last year.

Told that the families of the martyred policemen were also present in the program. Kumar told that Chief Minister Dhami also honored him. DGP said that this year we have also put up a tableau in the background, in which we have paid tribute to the 72 policemen martyred since the formation of the state.

During this, the officers and employees also kept silence for two minutes. SP Rekha said that the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty will always be remembered. Many police personnel including CO Parvez Ali, Counter Inspector Naresh Chandra Jakhmola were present here. Tributes were paid to the martyrs on Police Memorial Day in other police stations and outposts of the district.
