Ranchi: Veteran leader of Sarath assembly constituency Chunna Singh has joined JMM. After meeting Hemant Soren in Ranchi, he officially joined Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. On Monday, many leaders including Lewis Marandi had joined JMM and Chunna Singh's name was also coming up but the meeting could not be held on Monday.

Chunna Singh continued winning from this seat from 1985 to 2000. It is said about Chunna Singh that he has personal hold on Sarath assembly seat. He has also won this assembly seat as an independent.
