Ingredients to make Dhaba Style Sarso Ka Saag

one kilo mustard greens

250 grams bathua
250 grams spinach,
50 grams corn flour,
2 garlic,
some ginger,
4 green chillies,
3 large onions,
1 teaspoon turmeric,
1 teaspoon cumin,
1 pinch asafoetida,
1 teaspoon red chili powder,
1 teaspoon coriander powder
4 tbsp ghee will be required

How to make Dhaba Style Sarso Ka Saag

To make mustard greens, first wash and clean mustard leaves, spinach and bathua thoroughly. Then soak the greens in lukewarm water and add a pinch of salt to it. After washing leafy vegetables thoroughly, chop them finely.

Take a pressure cooker and boil all the leaves for about half an hour. Add ginger and garlic along with the leaves in it. Now take out this mixture and put it in a blender with corn flour and mix it. Then add 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pan and heat it. When the ghee becomes hot, add cumin and garlic to it.

When the garlic turns brown, add finely chopped onion and green chillies in a vessel. After this, add boiled greens, chilli, coriander powder, turmeric and salt as per taste. Then let it cook for 10-15 minutes. When the greens are ready, add ghee on top. In this way your delicious mustard greens are ready. You can serve it with corn bread.
