The dues claimed against the company were based on a valuation done after the initiation of insolvency proceedings. A two-member bench of NCLAT upheld the order of the Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), which had ordered the state tax department to pay Rs. The claim of Rs 6.10 crore was rejected.”
