These people also beat up students celebrating Diwali.

On the other hand, Jamia Millia Islamia Alumni Association of Minorities has issued its statement on the uproar in Jamia Millia Islamia during the Diwali program. It states how while protesting against the Diwali programme, slogans of Palestine Zindabad and Allah Hu Akbar were raised and the students were beaten up. In this, a demand has been made for an impartial investigation by the police and the university administration without any discrimination and a request has also been made to identify the culprits and take strict action against them.

On the other hand, BJP has targeted Congress in this matter.
