Vegetable Poha

Material

  • 2 cups poha
  • half cup finely chopped carrots
  • Half cup finely chopped capsicum
  • half cup green peas
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 4-5 finely chopped green chillies
  • half cup peanuts
  • half teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • salt as per taste
  • Half cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • half cup sev

method of making

  • To make vegetable poha, first clean the poha thoroughly with water.
  • Then filter it and keep it in a strainer, so that the water gets removed.
  • Now heat oil in a pan on gas. Then add mustard seeds in it and crackle it.
  • After this add peanuts in it and fry it.
  • When the peanuts are roasted, add finely chopped onion and green chillies and fry.
  • Then add finely chopped carrots, capsicum and green chillies and fry them.
  • After some time, add turmeric powder and salt to it.
  • Now add soaked poha to it and mix well.
  • Cook for 5 minutes. Then garnish it with finely chopped onion, coriander leaves, sev and lemon juice and serve.
Poha Chilla

Material

  • 1 cup poha
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • half cup oats powder
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 finely chopped tomato
  • 1 finely chopped carrot
  • 3-4 finely chopped green chillies
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • salt as per taste
  • half cup ghee

method of making

  • To make Poha Cheela, first clean it thoroughly with water and keep it aside.
  • Now add soaked poha, gram flour and oats powder in the mixer and prepare a smooth paste.
  • After this, take out this paste in a bowl. If the paste is thick then add a little water to it.
  • Then add chopped onion, green chilli, tomato, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder and coriander powder and mix.
  • Now heat a non-stick pan on the gas. Then add oil into it.
  • When the oil becomes hot, pour the batter on the pan with the help of a ladle and spread it.
  • Now apply some ghee on the sides and bake it well.
  • When the cheela becomes golden and crispy, take it out in a plate.
  • Poha cheela is ready. Sprinkle grated cheese and chaat masala on hot poha cheela and serve with chutney.
