Maruti Baleno: Tax Free
Earlier this year, Maruti Suzuki had made its premium hatchback Baleno tax free. Talking about the price, the price of Delta CNG 1.2 liter 5MT variant of Baleno is Rs 8.40 lakh, but the ex-showroom price of the same variant in CSD store is Rs 7,24,942. Baleno is the best selling car in India and features in the top 10 every month. For safety, this car has anti-lock braking system, EPS, seat belt. Features like airbags have been provided. After tax exemption, you are left with a balance of Rs 1,15,580. Baleno Zeta CNG 1.2L 5MT variant is priced at Rs 9.20 lakh ex-showroom. Maruti Fronx: Tax Free
The country's largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has recently made the best-selling compact SUV in India, the Francs. The company has now made the car tax free to benefit its customers. Franks is now available for sale in CSD (Canteen Stores Department), which will also reduce its price. At CSD stores, Indian soldiers have to pay only 14% GST instead of 28%, thereby reducing prices. Indian soldiers will benefit from this. Only the regular petrol manual, regular petrol automatic and turbo petrol variants will be available in CSD stores. Talking about the price, you can save up to Rs 1.60 lakh on the showroom price of the Sigma variant of Bronx and its other variants. Hyundai i20: tax free
Hyundai has also recently made i20 tax free. This will reduce the cost significantly which will benefit the Indian soldiers. CSD will save up to Rs 1.57 lakh on purchasing i20 car. The price of Hyundai i20 Magna variant is Rs 7,74,800 lakh, whereas you will get the same model on CSD for Rs 6,65,227 lakh. Apart from this, the price of Hyundai i20 Sport variant will be Rs 8,37,800 lakh, while the price of the same model on CSD will be Rs 7,02,413 lakh. Hyundai i20 Asta variant is priced at Rs 9,33,800 lakh. The i20 has a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which is equipped with a manual gearbox.

The Toyota Herrider has also become tax-free and the price has dropped by around Rs 2 lakh. Apart from this, Hycross has become cheaper by about Rs 3.11 lakh. It is a compact SUV.
