In sad news, Jaya Bachchan’s mother Indira Bhaduri, passed away at the age of 94. Bhaduri was in Bhopal when she took her last breath. According to reports, she had been unwell for quite some time and was under medical supervision. Reports also claim that last night, Indira’s health deteriorated, and Abhishek Bachchan was rushed to the hospital in Bhopal. Jaya has also reached Bhopal. On the other hand, the other family members including Amitabh Bachchan, will reach the hospital soon. Meanwhile, the exact cause of her death has still not revealed.
Over the years, Indira Bhaduri has faced several health crises. Back in 2023, Bhaduri underwent a pacemaker surgery in Mumbai, which helped in stabilising her condition temporarily. Despite providing every important medical facility, Indira’s condition continued to decline in the following months, leading to her death.
According to media reports, Indira Bhaduri lived at Ansal Apartments in Shyamla Hills, Bhopal, all by herself. Indira was the wife of the famous late journalist Taroon Bhaduri, who was associated with several newspapers. He passed away in 1996. As the news of Indira’s passing surfaced online, condolence messages have started to pour in. Indira Bhaduri is survived by her two daughters, Jaya Bachchan and Rita Bhaduri.
