Chandigarh: As soon as the autobiography of Haryana's former Olympian wrestler Sakshi Malik's autobiography 'Witness' is released, there has been a stir among the audience. Malik has mentioned wrestling from its beginning till its end in his autobiography. The part of Witness that is causing the most uproar is the untold story behind the wrestlers' protest at Jantar Mantar. In this, Sakshi Malik has not only targeted BJP leader Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, but has also targeted her movement colleagues Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat. Apart from this, Vinesh's cousin sister Babita Phogat is also there.

Brijbhushan's cheeky reaction

Brij Bhushan said, “I was already saying that all these wrestlers are motivated. Brij Bhushan said, “These people are trying to defame me by making allegations against me. If I speak on-camera on Sakshi Malik's book, her book will sell well. That's why I don't have to say anything on-camera.” On this statement, Sakshi Malik retorted and said that my fight against him is continuing, there is a case in the court, my stand is still the same.

Phogat family and Sakshi in Mahabharata

Sakshi Malik wrote in her autobiography that Babita Phogat had instigated the movement against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The names of two BJP leaders, whose names were in discussion for a long time in getting permission for the protest, Babita Phogat and Tirtha Rana have come up. Sakshi alleges that Babita wanted to replace Brij Bhushan. She herself wanted to become the President of the Indian Wrestling Association.

Babita Phogat hit back and wrote on social media, 'Shine with your own character, how long will the borrowed light last? Someone got assembly, someone got post, sister you did not get anything, we can understand your pain. She sold her honor in order to sell the book. Actually, his statement is being linked to Bajrang and Vinesh. Bajrang and Vinesh, who were leaders of the movement, joined Congress. Presently Vinesh is an MLA while Bajrang has the chair of Congress Kisan Morcha President, but Sakshi Malika is still maintaining distance from politics.

Mahavir said that Sakshi is speaking in Priyanka's language.

Vinesh Phogat's uncle and childhood guru Mahavir Phogat has also reacted to this whole uproar. Describing Babita as separate from the movement, he said that her aim was never to become the president of the wrestling association. I had also supported the wrestlers' protest. He said that Babita wanted a compromise. Now Sakshi Deependra Hooda and Priyanka Gandhi are speaking.

Vinesh said while talking to the media, 'Neither has anyone given me these things in writing nor can I read anyone's mind. The good thing is that we fought for a good cause. That fight is going on. The fight will continue until the culprit is punished.

Sakshi Malik has come clean on this issue. He said that the facts of my book are being distorted. Many such things are being said citing the book, which are not even mentioned in the book.
