Nikki Tamboli Defends Boyfriend Arbaz Patel’s Possessiveness Towards Her: ‘He Is Not Harmful’

Nikki Tamboli and Abraz Patel’s romantic connection was one of the key highlights of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 5. The duo, who fell in love during their time on the show, decided to continue their relationship out of the BB house. During their stint on Bigg Boss Marathi 5, Arbaz was often seen losing his calm over Nikki’s budding friendship with co-contestant and singer Abhijeet Sawant. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Arbaz opened up about his possessiveness towards his lady love and admitted not liking her closeness with anyone on the show, including Abhijeet. He said, “Ghar pe voh kisi ke saath bhi, chaahe voh Abhijeet ho, ya kisi aur ke sath bhi ye zyada time spend karti thi to muje acha nahi lagta tha (I did not like it when she spent time with anyone in the Bigg Boss house, whether it was Abhijeet or anyone else.).”

He added, “I also told you all these things. We both can't stop fucking each other. I am not able to stay in my house. If she went to the restrooms, I used to find her here and there).”

Responding to this, Nikki Tamboli quipped, “Mai ladkiyo se bhi baat karu toh bhi isko problem tha (Even if I spoke to girls, he had an issue with that).” She further added, “Let's admit that he is possessive and usko nahi pasand hai (He doesn't like it). He is not harmful to me.”

The new couple in town recently made their relationship Instagram official with a romantic photo together. In the picture, they were seen donning casual ensembles. While Arbaz was seen pouting and winking, Nikki smiled for the camera. In the caption, the actress simply dropped a red heart emoticon with their couple hashtags Arnik and Nikbaz.

Talking about Bigg Boss Marathi 5, the latest season was hosted by actor Riteish Deshmukh. Suraj Chavan emerged as the winner, while singer Abhijeet Sawant secured the first runner-up position. Nikki Tamboli, Dhananjay Powar, and Ankita Walawalkar claimed third, fourth, and fifth positions respectively.
