Many reports have also claimed that Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Saif Ali Khan were with Salman Khan while hunting black buck. Salman Khan was also arrested in this case.

In an interview in 2008, Salman had said, 'I did not kill the blackbuck and if I had known that this species was in danger, I would not have allowed it to happen.' When further asked about this, 'Are you guilty in this case?' So the actor replied, 'It makes no sense.'
