VIDEO | Mika Singh backs Salman Khan amid Lawrence Bishnoi threats; fans concerned
Indian rapper and singer Mika Singh has openly voiced his support for Bollywood star Salman Khan, amid death threats by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
In a recent stage performance, Singh paused his show to sing Ganpatifrom Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout at Lokhandwala. “Salman Khan this line is for…Brother, I am the main brother, don't worry.… (This line is for Salman Khan… I am your brother, I am here for you, don’t worry…),” he said.
The video, now viral on social media, has left Singh’s fans worried.
One user commented, “Where will the next bullet go? (You already know where the next bullet will be),” while another wrote, “Mika bhai…pls be safe.”
Fans were also quick to point out that Shootout at Lokhandwala stars Vivek Oberoi, who recently came under scrutiny after an old video of him supporting the Bishnoi gang went viral.
“Ironically this song and movie is Vivek Oberoi’s best performance,” a netizen pointed out.
Khan and Singh have collaborated in several Bollywood films, and provided bangers such as Dhinka Chika from Ready, Friday night from Kick, Today's Party from Bajrangi Bhaijaan and 440 Volt from Sultan.
Salman Khan has increased his security since the murder of his friend and NCP leader Baba Siddique by the Bishnoi gang. Khan has been a target of the gang since his alleged involvement in the blackbuck poaching case in 1998.
