Zimbabwe broke the world record in T20, Sikandar Raza created a stir

Gambia vs Zimbabwe T20I: A new world record has been created in the history of T20 International cricket, and this feat has been achieved by the Zimbabwe cricket team. Playing against Gambia in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub-regional Africa Qualifier Group B, Zimbabwe posted a mammoth score of 344/4, which is the highest score ever in T20 International cricket. Earlier this record was in the name of Nepal, which had scored 314 runs against Mongolia in 2023.

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza made his intentions clear as soon as he came on the field against Gambia. By scoring a century in just 33 balls, he broke the record of the fastest century among Test playing countries in T20 International. Earlier this record was in the name of Indian captain Rohit Sharma and South Africa's David Miller, who had scored centuries in 35 balls.
