Since 2015, the term “pan-India” has gained significant traction in the film industry. Movies are now being produced on a grand scale, showcasing collaborations across various languages and creating Indian films that transcend regional boundaries. The concept truly came into the spotlight with the blockbuster franchise “Baahubali,” directed by SS Rajamouli. This epic two-part fantasy drama shattered language barriers and redefined cinematic success. It also introduced the world to the pan-India star, Prabhas, who emerged as a household name following the franchise’s triumph.

This actor made his debut Hindi film in…

With Baahubali, Prabhas skyrocketed to fame, becoming a nationwide sensation almost overnight. After dedicating five years to the two-part epic, he earned recognition not just in India but around the globe. Following the success of “Baahubali,” Prabhas starred in several pan-India films, achieving major success with “Salaar Part One: Ceasefire” and the recent blockbuster “Kalki 2898 AD.” Although films like “Saaho,” “Radhe Shyam,” and “Adipurush” didn’t fare well critically, they still managed to rake in Rs 200-300 crores worldwide. But do you know which film marked Prabhas’ debut in Hindi? Surprisingly, it’s not “Baahubali: The Beginning.”

A year before Baahubali, Prabhas made a memorable cameo in the Ajay Devgn starrer “Action Jackson.” Directed by Prabhudeva, this film featured Prabhas showcasing his dance moves alongside Ajay and Sonakshi Sinha in the catchy song “Surya Ast Punjabi Mast.” In this lively number, he and Sonakshi share the spotlight, dancing together on a tabletop, adding a fun flair to the film!

Prabhas has delivered two incredible blockbusters that crossed the Rs 1000-crore mark: Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which raked in an astonishing Rs 1788 crores globally, and Kalki 2898 AD, which amassed Rs 1042 crores worldwide.

Prabhas has an exciting slate ahead! Fans can look forward to his romantic comedy “The Raja Saab,” set for release in 2025. He will also reprise his role in Salaar Part Two, team up with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Spirit, and continue the saga with Kalki Part Two.
