Rajasthan By-Election: Congress fields new faces on 7 seats, know who got the ticket from where
In the by-elections of Rajasthan, Congress has selected candidates as per its strategy, which has kept in mind caste equations and women empowerment along with the impression of familism. Congress has declared its candidates on seven seats, out of which two leaders are sons and two are women.
Know who got the ticket from where
Congress has given ticket to Aryan Khan (son of late MLA Zuber Khan) from Ramgarh seat and Amit Ola (son of MP Brijendra Ola) from Jhunjhunu seat. At the same time, Congress has made Resham Meena its candidate for Salumber seat, who will compete with BJP’s Shanti Meena. Congress has fielded DC Bairwa against Jagmohan Meena, brother of Kirori Lal Meena, on the Dausa seat, which will lead to a tough contest between the SC and ST classes.
Apart from this, Congress has made Ratan Chaudhary, wife of BJP leader Sawai Singh Chaudhary, its candidate from Khinvsar, due to which this seat is also in the news. On eighty-four seats, Congress has given ticket to youth leader Mahesh Rot, who has been associated with NSUI and Youth Congress.
Overall, the Congress has tried to play a balanced bet in the by-elections by giving chances to caste equations, familism and women, while also trying to strengthen its position by giving tickets to rebel and close leaders of the BJP
